A Chilly Morning

It's getting colder each day. I could say that I like it better this way more than having the hot, humid days of Summer in Texas. It's chilly but definitely tolerable for as long as you bundle yourself with the right clothing to keep yourself warm. Since it's going to be our first time here for the Fall-Winter season, I am sort of thrilled how is it gonna be.So far, it's been comfortable, and nice;-)

Contemplating on Going Back to School

I am definitely considering on going back to school. In as much as I have earned my degree back in P.I., I am looking into the program of accelerated bachelor's degree in Nursing. One of my concerns is I have nobody to count on to take care of Cassy while I am away. Putting her on a day care is not an option for me. Maybe I will just have to start taking some online classes and start off from there. I know, it's better said than done with the baby. But I really hope to get started once I will be able to assess my priorities.
So, will just keep my finger's crossed. Anyway, it doesn't have to happen right away but definitely its a long term plan for me and for my family.

Cassy and Jadyn-first pumpkin patch

It's Cassy and Jadyn on their first pumpkin patch visit. The kiddos were really enjoying! I hope someday they will become close friends as they are both filipino american babies. Gloomy Day!

It's a very gloomy day today, what a nice time to just sleep in and not worry about anything!! I wish I could do it, but I have to take care of little Cassy, the dogs and blogging on the side!! Anyhow, I will be alone for a few days since hubby left for Illinois today to attend to his grandmother's burial! I could have gone but I thought I would just stay. With the baby, I thought it would be much easier to just stay home. Besides, it will only be a short trip!
Anyhow, my condolence and sympathy goes to my husband mom's folks! May her soul rest in peace!

My Little Darling Cassy

As days go by, Cassy's little personality is coming out. She's able to express her dislikes and wants. I could just vividly recall when she was just a tiny newborn baby and now as she turns to be like a toddler. Her face has changes, she looks little older as she has eight teeth already.
In a month, she will be turning 12 months old and I am still astound how she changes right before my very eyes. Even though she'll turn eighteen someday, she will always be mommy's baby girl.

I like to read a lot of books. However, I must admit that among the books available, the bible book is something that I was not very much inclined to. This is the main reason why I would like to find out more about bible stories. As I mature each day, I want to set a good example to my daughter. Among all the bible stories, Genesis 3 is something that I can reflect on based on the modern scenarios of today's world. The verse encompasses where Adam and Eve broken God’s Command not to eat the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil which resulted them to be banished from God’s garden. As a reflection to this verse, these days temptation is always there. Evil exists everywhere and it even makes it worst with the fast-paced life where money is the goal of most people. Instead of going to church on Sunday and spending time with family would rather do something else. As what many said, it is much easier to be bad than being good. He will never betray us, instead He will continue to love us no matter what.
