My Cassy is definitely growing and learning each day. She's now able to deliberately express herself in so many ways. Like I could certainly tell when she has a poopy diaper and when she had to go because of her facial expression and a smell after wards. I know moms know this a lot.
As she was trying to go, she pointed her bottom and said Po-po to me. I told her to ask her dad to change her diaper. To our surprise, she went to her room and brought 2 pieces of diaper and a stack of baby wipes. Gosh, we're pretty amazed when she did it! I guess, little by little I can start putting her on a potty training.
I am just amazed how she's becoming to be a big girl each time! I am so proud of her but I can't stop myself from holding on to her infancy stage. I just think it came by too quick but definitely enjoying every milestone she had reached!

Longest Appointment!
Yesterday, we had one of our busiest days since Kevin and I had a back to back doctor 's appointments. I had mine at 9:30am and he's at 3:15pm. I decided to go by myself for my appointment as I didn't wanna bring Cassy (too afraid she'll catch something from sick people in the clinic). I was doing my routine papsmear and also my TSH lab work for my thyroid.
Mind you, it was the longest appointment I ever had to wait. My doctor had to be in the delivery room, so I had to wait for at least 2 hours to see her. Then, had my pap. and my laboratory test. It was probably my unluckiest day because the worst of all, when the technician had to draw blood from my veins, she had to repeat it twice just to get enough blood. Jeeeeeeeezz!!!!
Afterwards, I headed home and had lunch with my family together. Got Cassy's stuff ready and headed to Kevin's appointment. Luckily he got in and out very easily in Colleyville's clinic this time. I had to take Cassy for a short drive so she doesn't get bored waiting in the car.
Afterwhich, hubby asked if I wanted to go somewhere. I thought it's getting late and traffic got bad already, so we headed home and had dinner together. At least, we had all our doctor's appointments taken care of and able to spend time together.

Mother's Day Gift
Since yesterday was appreciation day for all mothers in the world, hubby gave me a special treat! He made an appointment at Massage Envy for me. I had no clue I would get something extra on that day.
All I really just wanted was to spend some quality time with my family, especially that Kevin has been working a lot of hours due to the upcoming Aquatics Summer Events in the City of Dallas (which he is in charged).
To my surprise, I had a very relaxing day brought by the hands of Massage Envy therapist. It was a good therapy to distress. Kevin spent some time with Cassy and picked me up later on.
Afterwards, we had lunch and decided to go for a drive. Then, we went to the trail along with the dogs, did some walking and headed to the lake. We just had a great time with my family and can't seem to ask for anything more.
I feel so lucky to have such a thoughtful husband, who always puts my needs on top of his! In return, I shower him with so much love and respect!

Climbing Out Of Her Pack n Play
I thought this was one funny thing to share. When I visited Jo, I had Cassy in the playpen for her usual nap. Like her normal routine, I left her in the room by herself. Instead of taking a nap, she put up a fit and decided not to take one. It's quite understandable since it' was completely a different environment for her. She's not used to her playpen anymore as she sleeps in her crib.
But what so silly about my Cassy was, she managed to get out of the playpen. The next time I put her back on, she managed to get out quickly, say after a minute or two she was out. She must have mastered it by this time. I just thought it's hilarious and pretty amazing.
She's definitely becoming a big girl, learning and figuring different things on her own. My dilemma would be, where to put her to sleep when we go to Branson, Missouri this Summer... Hmmm.. We'll figure something out for this girl...
