This was the picture I snapped when we had to pass the Border Patrol on our way back from South Padre Island. Since we were just 2 miles away from the border of Mexico; the Department of Homeland Security reprimands every person entering the US Border to present legal and proper documentation to enter in the U.S. territory. I was pretty amazed how far we have gotten and how close we were in Mexico. I could have had chance to enter Mexico since I brought my passport and greencard with me. However, hubby didn't bring his passport so as Cassy. We'll just have to do it next time I guess. It was quite a drive!
